Candidates Seeking Nomination at Caucus and Assembly

Below is a list of candidates seeking to earn a place on the June primary ballot through the caucus and assembly process. Ouray County Democrats will discuss these candidates at the March 7th Precinct Caucuses.

Each Precinct will also elect delegates to the County Assembly taking place later the same day. Delegates to the County Assembly will vote in preference polls and elect Ouray County’s delegates to the Colorado Democratic Party’s State Assembly, as well as to the Assembly for the 3rd Congressional District.

Some Democratic candidates may seek qualification for the primary ballot through the petition process. U.S. Senator Michael Bennet, who is a candidate for governor, will access the June primary ballot by petition.
